Neokarma Jooklo Sextet is a new cosmic improvisation project initially born as the larger formation of Jooklo Duo (Virginia Genta and David Vanzan). It officially began on january 2007 from an idea of David Vanzan, who wanted to join this six musicians arriving from many different experiences and bands in a new ensemble. The project often uses to change formation depending from the situations: it could be proposed both as a the original idea of the trio (Genta, Abate, Vanzan) than as Neokarma Jooklo Ensemble. Three more musicians who have partecipated since now to the project as guests are Hartmut Geerken on Sun Harp (special instruments donated to Geerken directly by Sun Ra) and percussions, Makoto Kawabata on electric guitar and Giorgio Pacorig on fender rhodes. Neokarma Jooklo Sextet proposes an intense improvised live-set of experimentations, mixing electronic sounds and dilatated atmospheres with ethnic and folk sounds, which can remind to the audience a kind of oriental, mystic and meditative soundscapes, using the secrets of trance music and progressive creation of the sound. But the main charachter of the ensemble is that all the musicians involved in it are working to build an animistic and homogeneous vibration, pulling down the wall of human ego and directly looking for a perfect symbiosis. A deep journey into the astral and infinite ways of human spirit and mind.

NOVEMBER 2009: Neokarma Jooklo Trio will perform daily at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts of Saint Etienne France, for La Serre 13# event, which will consist of an exhibition (the first ever) of Troglosound and Qbico records and artworks. Also in preparation: Neokarma Jooklo Trio "Memories from the age of the dragon" Qbico 98 LP + Neokarma Jooklo Experience "Peaceful messages" Qbico 97 LP, which will both be out by the end of November, first presentation of these will be in Saint Etienne.
OCTOBER 2009: We are working on a new Neokarma Jooklo Trio record + Neokarma Jooklo Experience one, which will both be out on Qbico soon...
APRIL 2009: The new year started with an amazing Neokarma Jooklo Experience tour through Germany, Denmark and Sweden, thanks so much to all the folks who have been sharing these magic moments with us and helped out with the organization! Also, the third Neokarma Jooklo Trio record "Time's Vibes" on Conspiracy records, finally out on march 24th, after one year of preparation.
NOVEMBER 2008: A bunch of Trio gigs in Spain and France and an Italy tour as Neokarma Jooklo Experience. Meanwhile, working on the third Trio record, which will be out on Conspiracy Records on march 2009...
JUNE 2008: Wild tribe meeting in Herrsching, southern Germany, feat. Hartmut Geerken, Virginia Genta, David Vanzan, Maurizio Abate, Paolo Pascolo, Luca Massolin and Mr Qbico
JANUARY 2008: Cosmic Europe tour for the trio featuring also Paolo Pascolo on flute and percussions

SEPTEMBER 2007: On late september 2007 out on Troglosound a cdr release ( art limited edition of 38 copies only ) from a live session recorded
at Scalodieci in Milano on january 2007 as Neokarma Jooklo Sextet.
We are glad to announce that from september 15th 2007 is out on Qbico "Infinity"
a celestial double 12" lp of a recording made appositely for Qbico on february 2007 as Neokarma Jooklo Octet with special guest Makoto
Kawabata. Besides this, is out even the seed of Neokarma as Qbico Beta, "Meditative", onesided LP by Neokarma Jooklo Trio in very limited edition of 99.
Together with this, always on september 2007 is going out the Qbico Video 06: the VHS of the Qbico Unite 8 ( first of ever in Italy ) in limited edition of 99
copies.
