MELTING MIND "COMPUTERLESS MUSIC"  CS60 recycled tape, collage art, limited edition of 30 numbered copies

" Everybody knows Melting Mind, at least in Italy and perhaps France (not only because the band massively tours there, but maybe because they all remember them over there for having an uncompromising rebellion attitude during shows and probably after). Anyway, in this crazy jam it's all about improvisation and raw sound.  The only rule is no rule: no score, no pose, no edit, no bullshit, no plan, no rolex, NO COMPUTER.  But still, the time flows naturally, melting your mind without any drastic and traumatic transition. A noise industrial suite for electric organ (Virginia Genta), reel-to-reel machines (David Vanzan), prepared guitar (Matteo Poggi) and cheap crappy devices (maybe broken) such as walkman and radio (Michele Mazzani). Electronic instruments of course, but not the miserable unmentionable one that everybody used to use. What is computer mentioned to do for this kind of music? Come on! It could all be a joke, but here it's proved it's still possible to do electronic "music" without any synthesizer and any computer. Yes, finally in 2021 we can say it again. What a revolution. Recorded on tape and duplicated directly from master tape to create other tapes for you to enjoy the hiss-marinated sound-paste. Another hand-crafted jewel for this iconoclastic band, try to grab one before it's too late, time burns plastic into ashes. Long live to underground and lo-finess (and low profile)."
